According to Drake, shopping for vintage gear is easy; all you need to do is use “this tool called the internet.” The Toronto rapper turned up to the The Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) to promote Apple’s new streaming service and app, Apple Music, in a varsity jacket made for Apple employees in the 1990s, a vintage piece he located online.

Moments after he was seen wearing the jacket, which features Apple’s former rainbow logo, Drake had the media and Twittersphere buzzing about his look. Men’s fashion authority GQ wrote that “only when wearing the jacket can you strut across a stage at a tech conference looking like a king,” signifying the impact of the secondhand piece, while fans tweeted to ask where he got it, and where they might find it.

Varsity jackets have long been a staple worn by the street style set and celebrities, but Drake just proved that if you want to make a buzz-worthy fashion statement, you should opt for the vintage variety. With the massive selection of vintage varsity jackets out there, this is one piece you can and should buy used.

To save you from the digital equivalent of vintage sifting, we’ve rounded up our selects.
